Description of Casa Cangrejo

Casa Cangrejo home rental is located in beautiful Bosques del Mar, a quiet, gated residential community just ten minutes from San Juan del Sur. This rustic home literally sits in a majestic forest by the sea.

Casa Cangrejo is constructed of red brick and native woods. Its spacious living room offers comfortable seating and opens onto the large dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The dining table seats four people comfortably and a large wood bar makes service both fun and easy. Casa Cangrejo gets wonderful, refreshing breezes which can be enjoyed via the many screened windows located throughout the house.

Both bedrooms feature comfortable queen beds and air conditioning. There is a large full bathroom with shower between the bedrooms for the sake of convenience. Located behind the home is a small casita with a full bed, small kitchenette, spacious patio, and its own bathroom with shower.

A private picnic area near the house allows for the enjoyment of the beautiful Pacific Ocean in a unique setting. Just a five minute walk from the house, this serene retreat offers its own restrooms, a barbeque area with shaded picnic tables, and access to beautiful Marsella Beach.

Although Casa Cangrejo feels a world away from San Juan del Sur, it’s conveniently located near a variety of restaurants, bars, and small stores. Mango Rosa Resort is a short walk away, and serves as a great place to grab a bite or simply lounge poolside while sipping a cocktail. An authentic Italian pizzeria complete with a brick oven can also be found nearby, as well as a couple of locally owned restaurants offering fresh fish and delicious local fare. And for the surfing crowd, one of the country’s most sought after breaks at Playa Maderas is just around the corner.
